Thanks for writing this. What really gets me is how ashamed SURVIVORS are for their own rapes. Blame the victimis alive and well. Even little kid who have been sexually assaulted feel ashamed, as if they did something wrong.

It is important to know to whom the shame belongs. How can they do such things?

It's always easier to blame someone else than to accept responsibility for your actions. And since society as a whole has created a rape culture, there are more people denying their actions than those taking responsibility for them. Sad, but true.
Yes, I wrote a whole book about how people try to blame others and cover-up their own unkind deeds. I thought about calling it On Accountability but instead I was inspired by Harry Frankfurt's On Bullshit.
